Cold calling on fortune 2000 accounts, on an average day I made 180+ calls and had 90 minutes of talk time. I made calls for a Fortune 10 company and worked with many of their reps to develop strategic messaging for their respective platforms.
The most enjoyable part of the job was a tie between learning high level messages for cutting edge technologies and BAO's company culture. Colleagues were more than willing to help anyone on the floor and there was a high level of support and camaraderie.
The hardest part of the job, by far, was the lack of control in material you received in order to make your monthly quota.
Overall, this is a very good opportunity for someone with the right mindset. You have to be able to multi-task and be very organized.
