Great company
Dietitian Assistant (Former Employee), Miami, FL – May 14, 2013
Amazing learning experience. Applied nutrition and dietetics knowledge learned in school. Management was always available to each employee's concern and addressed it right away. Everyone worked together well and flourished each shift extremely diligently. Hardest part of the job was not having enough hours, I had a per diem position. Most enjoyable – more... part was co-workers, learning each day something new in regards to nutrition. – less

excellent services but imbalance about policy applied to workforce
Duties under the registered nurse supervision (Former Employee), West Kendall Baptist Hospital – September 29, 2012
Pros: discounts
Cons: policy applies to certain people
the health care services as well as medical ones are excellent .Management and CEOs are demanding magnificence which is great .However the way to apply the law and policies differ from unit to unit or according to ethnicity of the workforce. Why ??? example; The Lab supervisor @ WKBH told me to take off my nose pin in a very rude way and in the presence – more... of others peers. He also made a big issue because I used to style my hair in a very curly way cause I like it and I was called unprofessional .However, nurses in the OR do wear big nose and lips pins, some guys exposed their tattoos with not problem @ all.I wonder what i was supposed to do for not being bullied that much, even from my peers. – less

MOST unorganized hospital EVER
him manager (Current Employee), baptist corporate building – June 18, 2012
This is the most Unorganized and Redundant, Time wasting , Resource wasting , Money wasting hospital organization that I have ever had to deal with in all my 25+ years of working in the medical field.
The management has tooo many chiefs, and not enough indians. I could rant all day on the major problems that the hospital has, what it comes down to , – more... if you want a job that you can actually "work" at, find another hospital, however, if you are someone who likes to deligate and pass the buck until the work or problem just disappears, then you will fit in just fine . – less

Not all it is cracked up to be....I was dissapointed in the way they run the company and espically my department. Unprofession in my department.
Monitor/Tech (Former Employee), Miami, FL – May 16, 2012
Pros: liked the job with patient care.
Cons: never had a weekend off, worked night shift, had bad managegment.
A typical day at work was challenging and had the lives of others in my hands. I enjoyed my job, and what I learned was that the clients as difficult as some were taught me patients, understanding and kindness is essential in all walks of life. I was in charge of patients free time and coordinator of their free time and activities director. My co workers – more... were some good some just showed up and put in hours. The management was two faced and not appreciative. The hardest part of the job was dealing with management because of the untruths and favoritism. The most enjoyable part of the job was seeing people get better and seeing them able to trust and have fun again without the use of drugs. Taking them to comedy clubs, trips to the beach, BBQ and the like. But to see them grow and become honest and trust, was very enjoyable. – less
