Business Valuation Professional
Accounting firm seeks an accounting/finance professional to enhance its business valuation and litigation support practice. Candidate will work on a variety of assignments in numerous industries working closely with privately held companies. Additionally, the ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert and will oversee and manage projects.
Major Duties and Responsibilities: Candidate will be responsible for developing financial models, financial statement analysis, general financial, economic and industry research, report writing, and public company research. In addition the candidate will be responsible for business development and marketing. Our services are utilized for many purposes including:
Estate and gift tax compliance
Goodwill impairment testing
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance required
5++ yrs experience of public accounting, financial analysis, or business valuation
Graduate training and/or progress toward professional accreditation (ASA, CFA, CBA, CVA, ABV, etc) preferred
Excellent computer (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), oral and writing skills
Positive attitude and professional
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
Knowledge of financial theory and business valuation techniques preferred
