Residential Aide, New York, NY - July 4, 2016
I worked at BFL for 2 yrs... Overall it's a decent place to introduce yourself to the social services industry. However, if you are not Hispanic do mf expect to get much appreciation for the work you do. The staff are usually young and often unprofessional. There are little groups formed amongst employees and its equivalent t a high school lunch room. Freedom house in particular has a problem with employee consistency. They seemingly cannot hold onto a set of employees for too long. If you do not laugh at all the supervisors jokes and co sign the attitudes,do not expect to go far with them.
