Pros: amazing tools for product knowledge and role clarity.
Cons: hours are not consistant
Bath and Body Works has an excellent work environment. We go in each day following our "Culture of Honesty" which mean we "Do what is right, every time, even if no one is watching."
What I love the most about Bath and Body Works is that at the end of the day we do what is right for the customer, while staying within the guidelines of the company. Everyone – more... is meant to feel like their role, no matter what it is, is very important. – less
Excluding the staff I worked with it is a fine placeto work.

Pros: 15% off merchandise.
Cons: in claremore the break room is a little uncomfortable.
It was very in the store rules.Because of the staff there when I worked in the holiday season it was a chaotic and rude.the staff are not polite to each other. In fact shopping on your day some of the staff would hide product or attempt to refuse sales promotions...Or not add employee discounts. Its A really embarrassing environment. I even wrote to the – more... company.i haven't heard back yet....I believe they may also have a security issue. That ive also mentioned to there card company. – less

Great place to learn customer service. Co-workers were great to work with. Managers gave plenty of coaching lessons on how to better our customer service skills. Sometimes the hours were not that good when it was slow.
Fun and exciting workplace with lots of fragrance!

The company manages year after year to excite not only external customers but internal ones as well. They provide many contests and additional incentives for you and your team to win throughout the year. It's a fun part time position but an even more fulfilling career.

Bath & Body works is a company which highly values its employees, and that shows from the moment you begin. It is a very unique market, and difficult to grasp until you find yourself in it.
The best part of the job is interacting with those coming in every day. After a while, faces and names are familiar, and there is a real trust and rapport gained. – more... There are moments of difficulty, however, and they are mainly due to customer issues. Doing what is best for the customer is of utmost importance, and as a company, they strive to do just that with each and every person. – less

A typical day at work is to sell products to all customers who walk into the store. learning how the products work and ingredients in the product would help you let the customer know if they are allergic to the product or not.

Pros: gratis, discounts
Cons: not enough available hours for all employees
A days work was all about meeting ads sales goal for each hour of the day. providing product knowledge and great customer service skills with add-ons included. I learned how to sell and manage time effectively during deadlines. Co-workers were great, up-beat, good spirited, professional and knowledgeable. Management made sure requirements were met and – more... the schedule was flexible. the hardest part of the job was that there weren't enough hours available for such a large staff. the best part of the job was the events, discounts and the gratis gifts. – less
I love the people I work with and all our customers. Everyone is so upbeat and happy. I enjoy going into work on a regular basis and seeing everyone. It is like a large family. This causes work to fly by and before you know it, the day is done. The hardest part of the job is the stability. The shift hours constantly change depending on the sales of – more... the store. One week you could have a full schedule and the next week you might not have any shifts at all. It's very hard when planning a budget for the future. – less
