This company really wants you to succeed. It's a great place to sell the product that you love while having fun. Coworkers make it a great environment.

A typical day in the store for me would replinishing the sales floor and stocking the back room and interacting with not only the staff but customers whom need help or information on a specific product.

Calm and Friendly Work Place
Sales Associate (Former Employee), Cerritos, CAMay 1, 2015
Days at Bath an Body Works were usually of a more peaceful nature. Management was always helpful and always looked for opportunities to improve our knowledge on the product in the store. Pushing sales and promotions was one of the most important things due to the lack of customers. The most enjoyable part of the job was all the free product we received and working overnight with all the girls was a lot of fun.

Sales Associate/Cashier (Current Employee), Elyria, OHApril 27, 2015
I have a great sales team. We help customers uncover their needs, whether it be body care items, or home care items. The most enjoyable part of my job is being able to help a customer find exactly what they are looking for.

Shift Manager/Trainer (Former Employee), Fort Walton Beach, FLApril 24, 2015
Pros: Great team environment.
Cons: Drop in customer volume resulted in fewer work hours.
I was a team manager of a high volume store.

I learned a great deal from my senior management team.

The hardest part of the job was leaving to join the military.

The most enjoyable part of my day was endorsing a product that I was confident in.

Sales Leader (Current Employee), Aventura, FLApril 23, 2015
Pros: excellent management team
Cons: no fulltime positions, low hours
I love working with my fellow employees but its not just about fun, there has to be opportunity for growth. holidays are there busiest and it gets crazy but there's not sense of direction with hours.

If you enjoy working in sales and a place to test how well you do in sale this would be a place you most def would want to work.

you learn a lot about the different lotions and scents they have and why one product would be better for you than the other

Growth Team Work Organized
Sales Rep (Former Employee), Cherry Hill, NJApril 22, 2015
Best sales job ever. Bath and Body works is a retail based company. There was room for growth in getting additional responsibilities. I learnt a lot through this company on how to effectively run a team, working as a team to meet store goals, marketing products to increase sale numbers. Had a great group of people to work with.

Pros: Product
Cons: Training
Very limited sales staff leaving management to pretty much single handed run store. Expectations were very unclear at times. Poor training.
