Pros: friendly people, helpful coworkers and managers, good discount
Cons: short breaks, floor sets
I learned a lot at Bath and Body. I was hired as a seasonal employee so it was a very busy atmosphere. I would get to work, go to the back, put on my apron, clock in, and then meet with the manager on the floor to find out what zone they wanted me to work. I usually worked zone 1, which is the front of the store greeting customers or the cash register. When I had time in between customers I would help clean and organize the store. Management was great, always very understanding. They could be strict, but most of the time I had a positive experience with them. My co-workers were very friendly and we all helped one another. The hardest part of the job was working floor sets which took place from the time the store closed to about 3:00 AM. The most enjoyable part of the job was interacting with customers and giving them a positive experience.
