The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for meeting or exceeding sales goals for ShoppersChoice.com. He/She is responsible for initial contact with vendors/customers, follow-up, proposal preparation, making customer presentations, and seeing the sale through to the signing of a contract. The Outside Sales Representative is also responsible for maintaining on-going relationships with assigned accounts. Integrity, passion, and in-person presentation skills are essential for this role.


  • Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth
  • Prospects, cold calls (phone and in person), and generates new sales opportunities
  • Develops and maintains relationships with vendors/customers
  • Delivers presentations to vendors and prospects
  • Develops proposals and presentations
  • Meets or exceeds sales goals
  • Maintain accurate records, including sales call reports, gas reimbursement forms, new sales order forms, and other documentation
  • Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products, competitor activities, and other research
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through sales cycle
  • All other duties and projects as assigned by management

Skills & Specifications:

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent grasp of accounting and financial calculations as it relates to sales and revenue
  • Exceptional interpersonal and networking skills to interact with clients from small to large business structures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education & Qualifications:

  • 1 year of sales experience or higher education degree in Accounting, Sales, Marketing, or related field
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office products, website navigation, etc.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must have a clean driving record and be able to travel to vendor/customer locations
  • Demonstrated /proven sales history in outside sales

$35,000.00 DOE + Quarterly Commission + Auto Reimbursement
