Cons: lots of responsibility, no benefits, no lunch breaks, strict management
A typical day of work is dealing with customers 1 on 1, trying to sell product & being prepared to answer any question correctly. You learn about batteries, bulbs, tech work, etc. Management is usually rich people who just bought a store & only care if the store makes money (not the employee). 2-4 Co-Workers max. Having to weld, pour Acid, having to know EVERY detail of EVERY item for customers that 9 out of 10 come in upset about their battery/bulb. Only enjoyable part is a weekly paycheck.
