Good place to work
Teaching Assistant (TA) (Former Employee) –  Waco, TXDecember 15, 2017
Wonderful place to grow and develop as a scientist. Culture is one of caring and the campus is a great place to work. Students are intelligent and typically dedicated to doing good work.
Pros
Beautiful Campus and facilities
Cons
changing focus on long term goals at top can leave some traditional focus behind

Graduate Student
Doctor of Philiosophy in Mechanical Engineering (Current Employee) –  Waco, TXDecember 4, 2017
Being a graduate student at Baylor is similar to being a graduate student anywhere else. The pay is not competitive, but the department is new, so there is the trade-off of getting to work closely with professors.
