In 1987, with the start of the Outlet business in retail, his son E.R.Beall decided to open the first Beall’s Outlet in Florida. The concept was a hit and the Outlet division has been growing ever since. Currently within the Beall's Inc. portfolio, there are over 450 Outlet stores and 70 Department Stores that cover 16 states, with sales over a billion dollars annually. The Outlet division conducts business under two different names, Beall’s Outlet within Florida, Georgia and Arizona and Burke’s Outlet for all other locations.

Assistant Store Manager
Manage all aspects of store operations to obtain the highest level of sales and profitability while maintaining a consistent customer base. To achieve these goals, the Outlet Assistant Store Manager must promote teamwork among all employees. Results must meet the standards of performance set by the Company.
A successful Assistant Store Manager will be able to:
o Develop game plans to ensure success in all aspects of the business
o Able to merchandise softline/hardlines with or without directives
o Make sound business decisions that balance competing priorities
o Understands and drives appropriate business metrics to assess business performance

OTHER WORK RELATED REQUIREMENTS
Must be willing to:
- Relocate when promoted within the District and possibly on short notice,
- Travel to assist with new store openings and corporate meetings as required,
- Work varying hours and schedules,
1. High School Diploma or equivalent is required; college degree is preferred.
2. Two to four years of management experience is preferred.
3. Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
4. Must be responsive to a continually changing retail environment.
5. Must possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for travel to the bank, store business, and assist in designated stores.
