Takes forever to move up and cannot live on the $ made while waiting.
Sales Agent/Realtor (Former Employee), Nashville, TN –
Pros: opportunity, training, helping buyers
Cons: not enough money
Great training, wonderful structure and I believed in their building techniques. Great branding and I was proud to work there. I just couldn't pay my bills as I was waiting to become a full time agent.

Great place to work. Everyone was a team player. Loved this line of work.
Purchasing Coordinator (Former Employee), Houston, Tx –
A typical day usually started out running and reviewing reports. Continued the day with repetitive work with Purchase Orders, talking with salesmen and superintendents in the field. Once a week was responsible for Builders Payroll...which was heavy data entry.

Cons: housing industry
good place to work, not secure with the current recession. Being in land development with a national builder has challenges.
