Investigate First
LD Manager (Former Employee), east coast – May 8, 2013
Cons: management lacks integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
Check consumer affairs, facebook, social media, Not the once upstanding honest company it used to be.

Southeast div. needs to be reorganized

Still deal with them and watching the company slowy wither away.
Should have kept Ian

Las Vegas Division Run by hot head insulting manager
management (Former Employee), las vegas nv – March 16, 2013
Pros: good people in field/ secondary levels of company
Cons: upper management run a muck with highly abusive leader in charge
General team is a good group of people but are subject to selling out each other to avoid the displeasure of division president who publicly insutls staff members, yells and curses, has no boundaries in professionalism or management of teams and essentially destroys enjoyment of working there.

Productive and fun place to work
New Home Information Coordinator (Former Employee), Roseville, CA – January 8, 2013
Pros: quarterly meetings and holiday parties
Cons: change in housing market
Prepare sales meeting with coffee and essentials. Assisted Sales personnel with marketing items and supplies for their individual sales offices. Checked email for New Home Information Manager and prepared responses. Set-up follow up times in scheduler for New Home Information Manager. Updated prices sheets and sent via email to each Sales person. Met – more... with Sales and Marketing Managers to Calibrate ideas to be ahead of competition. Learned that every position made a difference in the company doing well. Was the best work environment with co-workers, we were like a big family. The hardest part of the job was saying goodbye to workers as they were laid off. Everything about the job was enjoyable. – less

Sr. Purchasing Agent - Bear, DE
Sr. Purchasing Agent (Former Employee), Bear, DE – October 20, 2012
Pros: pleasant co-workers
Cons: upper management was terrible.
This company has no regard for you or your knowledge. I wouldn't go back to Beazer if they were the last homebuilder in the country.

Overall this was a good job
Builder (Former Employee), Norcross, GA – October 15, 2012
Pros: good pay, fun work
Cons: poorly managed company with poor incentive structure
Good pay, good people, Interesting work, bad management. I would compare this company to the movie Office Space. Just think if Loyd, Peter's neighbor was working at Initech. Upper-level management was terrible with few exceptions.

Good Entry Level job with a Glass ceiling
Purchasing Coordinator (Current Employee), Atlanta, GA – July 2, 2012
Pros: nice people, comfortable work environment
Cons: no advancement, lack of minorities/women in management
Although Beazer seems to be one of the better homebuilder in regards to diversity and women in management it can still be a good old boys club in many ways. Work environment is laid back and comfortable. People are nice but if you're looking for the fast-track for advancement pick another industry. During the current economy budgets are tight but when – more... the market was great Beazer was the builder to work for: great pay, tons of perks and Holiday Parties out of this world! – less

if you love sink or swim with no life preservers, this is your place!
New Home Sales Counselor (Former Employee), Katy, TX – June 2, 2012
Cons: sales management is non-existant, (they do not have ears)
If you love not being helped at all, and having managers insist on overpricing homes by 30 to 50,000 after you have done your market comps then by all means this is the place for you. Don't worry about them stacking sales reps either, the second you sell a home they will put someone else in your community so you will never make a dime, even if you are – more... willing to do all the leg work and make 50 to 100 calls per day. – less

Great place to work. Everyone was a team player. Loved this line of work.
Purchasing Coordinator (Former Employee), Houston, Tx – April 24, 2012
A typical day usually started out running and reviewing reports. Continued the day with repetitive work with Purchase Orders, talking with salesmen and superintendents in the field. Once a week was responsible for Builders Payroll...which was heavy data entry.
