Beckon, Inc. is looking for a Cross Channel Marketing Data Lead to join our Data Services team. This person will work with our customers and internal account teams to understand customers’ strategic marketing goals then lead efforts to collect, review, analyze, and evaluate cross-channel marketing data. Working with this data, the Cross Channel Marketing Data Lead will drive the setup, tagging, and data views for customers within Beckon’s marketing management software.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong marketing background with a proven track record in managing product brands to significant growth.
Partner with our customer’s marketing channel leaders/managers to determine key metrics to be tracked within Beckon across all channels: Offline/Brand Advertising, Display, Email, Mobile, Social Media, etc.
Partner with customers using Beckon’s marketing management software to track campaigns and develop campaign performance and ROI analysis.
Evaluate customer data sources in order to provide specific recommendations for importation into and utilization within Beckon for the purpose of providing meaningful, actionable insights to our customer’s marketing teams via Beckon’s dashboards and reporting capabilities
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure necessary data is captured and analytic needs are well-defined upfront.
Ensure data consistency and integrity across teams, datasets, and reports
Analyze data using Beckon to discover critical business and program insights.
Translate business requests into compelling, high-value reports in Beckon
Manage Data Services team as to how best to handle and manipulate customer data for use in Beckon
Understand KPI measures related to conversion, acquisition volume, cost, revenue, attrition, etc. and ensure Beckon output mirrors expectations
Create templates and best practices for marketing data analysis
Train customers in-person and via online meeting software on the Beckon application as part of shared duties across the organization
Provide input to product and engineering teams and work with them to develop new Beckon features and functionality
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business required, Master’s/Advanced Degree in Marketing or Business preferred
5 or more year’s experience in Marketing is required
Hands on experience with online/offline campaign analytics
Strong analytical skills and experience using web analytic tools
Experience working with marketing KPIs and what is needed to drive business at the highest level
Ability to manipulate, extract, analyze and report data
Ability to think broadly and critically about an analytical problem and apply business, industry, and company acumen to developing and testing hypotheses in the solution of that problem
Experience managing a small team
Strong Excel skills
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to communicate technical requirements to non-technical business partners
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people and constituencies
Understanding of a variety of 3rd party marketing and analytics tools
