I work for bed bath and beyond and i was reading all the bad things people were saying about them, well just because someone doesn't call you back right away doesn't mean there a bad company, Bed Bath and Beyond have been the best place i've worked in a long time if you think this is a such a bad company why don't you work for Toys R Us and then come back and then come and tell me that bed bath and beyond is a bad place to work for.

Working at BBB has been the worst expierence of my life. Never have I been treated with such little respect on any job I have ever had. When I was hired, scrubbing toilets and mopping floors was never part of the interview process. They trick you into thinking this job is the mercedes of retail and once you are hired you realize it is more like a broken down, rusty, car found at any junk yard. Make a mistake and you'll hear about it, get a compliment from a customer, well unless you hear them tell a manager or read a comment card, you never hear about it. I finally got out and couldn't be happier at my new job. But please, run as fast as you can from Bed Bath and Beyond if you value yourself as a human being. Trust me, it's the best advice anyone will ever give you.

Any experience with the office? Specifically administrative positions.
I applied directly and got no response. But then a recruiter wanted to send in my resume and supposedly they (BBB) want to interview. The recruiter seemed to have more about the position then the company website, include overtime and some weekends.

I have approximately 19 years retail management experience. Most of these company's want, if not all, want unexperienced, YOUNG KIDS out of college. The pay would be less, but in the long run these kids won't last. My problem was my company went out of business/bankrupt, and there is no ne to verify my employment, then my mother took seriously ill and I was her caretaker til her death. Do I not show how to be a responsible person?
