Facilitates training and professional development, coordinates staffing, and provides general Human Resources support for the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assesses needs, coordinates, develops and delivers training to meet company objectives to include preparation of curriculum and outsourcing of training delivery.
Coordinates new hire orientations at all locations and ensures effective on-boarding.
Ensures hiring the highest quality Benjamin staff possible by coordinating recruitment and selection of staff. Process includes representing Benjamin Steel at area job fairs, facilitating job posting, advertising using electronic media and print, conducting background checks, scheduling drug screens, coordinating the employee referral program, and maximizing services received from outside services.
Administers Wellness programming and benefits and coordinates welfare programs such as picnics, service awards, celebrations, cookouts, etc. consistently with Benjamin culture.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or related experience in Human Resources (8-12 years) plus 3-5 years experience with employment recruiting, training and compliance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrated success managing confidential information and demonstrated commitment to Benjamin's Core Performance Factors.
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational, and software skills applying a strong sense of urgency and commitment to customer service.
Experience developing and delivering training on a variety of topics to include hands on and soft skills.
Valid driver's license and insurable motor vehicle record and ability to travel to all branch locations, as necessary.
