Senior Associate (Current Employee) – Emeryville, CA – May 19, 2015
As is usual in the consulting industry, there is no typical day. I have been very fortunate while working at BRG, routinely performing at a level 3 levels ahead of my own as a result of working in a small team which often consisted of just me and the expert witness.
The hardest part of the job, particularly on larger cases, is seeing how your work fits into the bigger picture as a whole, and why that matters to the overall argument and analysis of the case.
The most enjoyable part of the job is the supportive structure from my junior staff peers. BRG incentivizes its employees by working for billable hours, but this has not stopped junior staff taking time from their own busy schedules to help others and corroborate on difficult issues.
Consultant (Former Employee) – Baltimore, MD – January 24, 2017
Incompetent, technically challenged and stubborn managers. Employees are discussed as if they are property. Communication between the forced and inorganic hierarchy is dismal at best. Office is a dungeon
