There are some really invested people working with the youth.
Supervising Group Home Worker (Former Employee) –  Rochester, NYJuly 20, 2015
Not all days are good. Most days are starting from scratch with the youth until you have built a relationship. The best co-workers are those that truly care about the youth, and the team. The hardest part of the job is working with people who only show up for a paycheck. I have loved till this very day, when a youth sees me in the street, at a rec center, or just stopped by the GH to say that I made a difference.

Foster Care Clinician (Former Employee) –  Hudson, NYJanuary 10, 2013
Non-traditional schedule, some traveling. Individual, group, family counseling with children and families in the foster care system. Contracted by the county (hardest part was interpreting county's need versus client needs). Learned how to work within the court system. Co-workers fun and many. Most enjoyable was the flexible schedule, clients, and co-workers.
Pros
flexible sched.
Cons
crisis oriented
