Ultrasound department was combined Out-patient, In-patient and emergency care. This hospital had a separate Vascular department for scans. The staff there truly worked as a team. Two of the techs are instructors at the local State College. They went out of their way to make sure that I was getting my questions answered. I was able to get the most amount – more...  of hands on scanning. The hospital had the most amount of OB/GYN scanning than the other hospitals where I was a student. My five month internship in the laboratory department was wonderful. I learned important real life scenarios and was able to use critical thinking skills.

Bethesda has succeeded in creating a great work place enviroment. You can have a work life balance which is hard to achieve in most companies. Great company to work-they have many different types of events and programs to show employee appreciation. Open door policy with managers that allows you to be heard. Overall a great place to work, good benefits and fair compensation.

Human Resources has always been very warm and helpful. Volunteer staff to help out the employees and community.

The job was ok. Some great coworkers and some you had to watch out for but majority of people made you feel like it was a family and majority were very helpful.
