Understand what you are signing up for especially if you work in a jail environment (juvenile or adult) before committing to it. It can be high stress, feel overworked, and work up to 16 hours. Many people don't understand what they're getting themselves into and the job is not for everyone leading to a high turnover rate. The interview is no different than any other job interview but you will have to take a psych exam and a physical.
