Hard work but easy once you get it
Tire Technician (Former Employee), Aurora, COJuly 21, 2014
Working here was a great experience it helped a lot. I learned a lot about tires like the sizes, and how to repair a flat. My co-workers were really cool they all worked as a team and made it more easier. The hardest part of the job is when you get really really busy and have to keep a steady fast pace with no mistakes to try and get all the cars in and out as fast as possible. I enjoyed my employees the most of this job because we were all pretty much a big family.

Inexperienced technicians, demanding upper mgmt, low customer reviews, etc...
Service Manager (Former Employee), Cypress, CAJuly 17, 2014
Days with another manager / service writer are feasible. Days alone are unmanageable while busy, especially when your manager "schedules" all groupons on his day off. The most experienced technicians can't diagnose a check engine light correctly, which means that work gets turned away when it comes in if you want to avoid a nightmare of subletting the job to another shop after your guys can't figure it out. Upper management comes once in a while to preach about goals and quotas that can NEVER be attained, especially with an apprehensive customer base, inexperienced technicians, and low ratings/shop history. If you are an honest person, and genuinely want to help customers, you won't last at this company.

Busting tires is hard work, but it's actually pretty fun if you like a fast paced work environment. I learned a lot working here. Pay was not good, but okay. Lots of overtime and paid time off.

big o tires is known for best quality service in a quick amount of time we build relationships with our customers. were a nationwide company that's reliable. we are always busy and customer base is growing. we do oil changes, tires and were also a full service shop. working for big o tires you learn to meet customers needs, wants and what ifs. Giving the customer what they need in timely manner with the one thing they love "there cars". workers at big o tires, we have to work as one big team, work hard to meet these expectations. hardest part of working for big o tires keeping the customers happy and coming back for services. Its also hard to promise time for repairs on vehicles .The most enjoyable part of working for big o tires is making the customers happy they came in and them leaving telling family and friend such a good environment it is.
