In 2014, Bigos Management implemented a driving mission and vision behind our work. Since employees are spread across the metro area, this initiative connects everyone. The Bigos Internship
Since the Bigos Management internship program began two years ago, interns have become an important part of the Bigos culture. The program is about more than just teaching our interns about property management, it aims to equip them with real life experiences, lasting relationships, and the skills they'll need to be successful and impactful members of the workplace.
During the 10 week program, interns work on-site to gain a first-hand view of the in's and out's of property management. They work in all facets of the industry, ranging from leasing to operations to finance, and work with their teams to complete projects throughout the summer.
On top of all this, we aim to make our interns feel like a part of the Bigos family. We host corporate events, lunch & learns, job shadow days and more to show them what life is like with Bigos Management.
Bigos Management, Inc. was founded in 1981 by Ted Bigos. The company currently holds ownership/management of 42 apartment communities, over 7,000 units, and commercial office space. The current portfolio's diversity offers something for everyone from quiet suburban living to fast-paced downtown high-rise life. The most recent acquisition was Kellogg Square in St. Paul.
Over 300 people are employed at Bigos Management. The owner-managed aspect of the company is not only beneficial to our residents but also to those employed by Bigos Management. A complete benefit package, including profit sharing, is available to full time employees.
Our apartment communities are staffed with qualified, experienced personnel. The realm of responsibility born by our on-site staff includes management, resident relations, maintenance, and marketing.
