Bill's Music House, Inc. is a full line music store that has enjoyed serving local area musicians for over 40 years. It all started in 1965 in an 8' x 8' studio when Bill Higgins placed an ad in the local newspaper that read "Guitar Lessons Available". At that time, rock music was exploding and the popularity of the Beatles, Rolling Stones – more... and other rock groups helped focus unprecedented attention on guitars, amps, keyboards and other musical products.
With a philosophy that put the customer first, and placed emphasis on stocking quality equipment that was in demand, Bill's Music rode the rock music wave, expanding over the next 10 years and moving into four progressively larger locations, all around the Catonsville suburb of Baltimore. What began as simply a music lessons operation grew to include musical instrument sales, repairs, rentals, financing, international mail-order and internet sales as well as over 400 students currently enrolled in music lessons.
Today Bill's Music consists of two stores side by side, with more than 36,000 square feet of new and used musical equipment that is sure to be any musician's idea of paradise.
