Great studio to work for.
Environment Artist (Former Employee), Austin, TX – April 8, 2013
Great studio to work for. Very creative and rewarding. The studio was very receptive to input from critiques. Work/life balance was excellent and there was never excessive crunching.

A great place to work.
QA Analyst (Former Employee), Austin, TX – February 24, 2013
Pros: free breakfast and meals during crunch overtimes.
Cons: management turnover and lack of focus.
Usually I would get into the office early, go into the break roon and grab some breakfast, and then head to my desk. After the Manager gave us our tasks for the day we would break into our teams and start work. We started as QA on the low end of the totem pole but our manager was great about always adding new training and tips into what we were doing. – more... By the end of my contract I was on the end game strike force which was in charge of testing all end game content. – less

Great place to learn the pros and cons of the gaming industry.
Associate QA Lead Outsourcing (Former Employee), Austin, TX – August 10, 2012
Pros: free breakfast.
Cons: poor management vision, abundant office politics.
Bioware is a great studio to get introduced to the ways of the gaming industry. It has both the benefits and disadvantages of working on a large single title and while working their you will have those days of banging your head against the wall but the core people there, outside the management, truly do care about their project and their coworkers and – more... will go the extra mile for you. – less

QA Tester (Former Employee), Austin, TX – August 4, 2012
They will hire and fire at will, and their lack of respect to contractors is horrible.

Productive and fun workplace
Assistant. Project Manager (Former Employee), Austin, TX – June 22, 2012
Pros: free breakfast, loaded game cabinet, and awsome game swag.
Cons: 1 year contracts with little chance of conversion to full time.
Bioware was a great company to work for with a great group of talented and driven employs.
My duties entailed the localization of Star Wars: The Old Republic game and marketing content.
I found management to be very supportive.
Co-works are also always willing to help.
The most difficult part the project was getting information from the marketing team.
The – more... most enjoyable part of the job was seeing the final product on the established deadlines. – less

Fun, forward thinking, encouraged employee advancement
Executive Assistant to the two Co-Founders (Former Employee), Edmonton, AB – May 16, 2013
Pros: opportunities for relocation, and advancement
Cons: unless you are a programer and love dark workplace, it can be a depression environment to work in
Good place to work. Not micromanaged, annual reviews, benefits are OK. They offer frequent employee lunches, and family events, free breakfast every day.
