While the appearance of time may seem to be manipulated, Birkey's strives to put technicians on jobs where they have the most skills and are able to complete the work in a manner that is efficient and provides the customer with quality service, intentionally attempting to exceed their expectations.
This has proven on occasion to some technicians as playing favorites with jobs. It is essential to efficiency in the work load, while allowing technicians with less experience and/or skill the opportunity to learn from their peers.
