Happiness depends on who your supervisor is

Pretty laid back, but the supervisor has no spine. Lets probationary employees get by with numerous no call/no shows. Lets other employees show up when they want, if they want, and they don't even have to do their job assignment. Supervisor huffs and puffs but does nothing. Not a secure place to work on the weekends. Building doors are supposed to be locked within one hour after the last class, but buildings are left unsecured for several hours after the last class. Supervisor does not care and does not force employees to lock doors. Those above him don't care either. Why bother locking doors at all if this is the attitude? Then they wonder why people are found late at night wandering the halls. One employee is allowed to do whatever he wants because he is friends with the supervisor. Emotionally unstable and immature. Never know when he is going to go ballistic. Can't work by himself because he needs a babysitter, but everyone else is capable of working alone. Morale is extremely low, partially because they see people get by with stuff that would get you fired elsewhere. Partially because administration cut jobs, laid people off because they claimed they needed to cut payroll, but then everyone in administration got huge raises. Very political culture.
low morale, spineless leadership, bad attitudes allowed to fester
