They say most people don't quit their job, the quit their bosses. That is definitely true at this organization. Management are some of the most ignorant, petty, nasty I have ever met. But, there are a multitude of reasons to quit this job, including having some of the lowest pay around, receiving no raises for years on end and having the idiot management act like you should be grateful just to be working. Confidentiality is not respected with regard to personal health information. When I was a manager there, I was given the personal health information of my direct reports often, and this information was used to make decisions on promotions. The HR director would go right in the employee's file and see what kind of doctor they saw and when. The ED would run around telling how much somebody's heart attack or premature baby cost the company out of their self-insurance fund. One of the most demeaning and damaging experiences of my life.
