This was a position to supplement income. I enjoyed my daily tasks, but there was not much room for growth and not enough flexability with my full time job

Blockbuster was a pretty easy job. I just had to stock movies, check-in, cashier, and clean the store. Not much else to it. I definitely enjoyed being here because my co-workers made each shift fun.

Easy to execute job functions, strong learning opportunities, you can make your own future here! Everyone can get along well and grow at his or hers own pace. Tasks become redundant though, hard days were the busy ones because nothing let up and everything had to be done with poor labor hours given. It was a very laid back job. Everyone that worked there was very friendly and knew a lot about the different genres of movies. My job there was to stock the movies, keep the store clean, and to help the customers with finding the movies or games that they were looking for in a timely manner. good coworkers and managers. horrible pay. worked here while i was in college, so couldnt care less

loved taking home movies every week to review before the customers get to see them loved the hours wish they would have stayed open

I would have stayed with this company if it had not done under. I miss it very much.

You stand around putting movies away. stand at front waiting on customers to come up with a movie to rent or buy.

I did not enjoy working here. The pay was low and there were not alot of available hours.

Helped out customers with questions on rentals or policies. Did inventory, stock and cash register. Great management and co-workers.

Great job, if you're into movies this would be great for yourself and the customer will get great movie knowledge from you.

The Blockbuster I worked at is no longer open. As a company they weren't to bad to work for though.

To work at Blockbuster you needed to know about movies, so we got 10 free rentals a week- way more than you could watch in that time. My job included stocking shelves, helping customers, and running my own till. Making bank deposits, cleaning the store and opening/closing the store were also part of the job.

Working on your feet all day and not sure when the work day was over. At times it was fun because we was able to watch the new release of movies

I liked everyone I worked with. It was a fun place to work. I learned a lot of new movies and met some interesting people!

I truly enjoyed working for this company and my managers. this was a good company that helped their employees .

stocking, open, close, customer service rep, cash reg,and proper way to greet customers.management was ok needed work on how to come at their workers .hard part of the job their where none . i enjoyed the customers very polite .

a typical day is a customer freaking out about late fees.
What i have learned is patience.
Management is alright sometimes it changes all the time.
I enjoy my co-workers a lot most have more interests than just movies.
Hardest part of the job is dealing with management and customers.

I had great mentors here that taught me the basics of how to manage and the importance of being professional in the workplace. I learned how to train new employees, and organization and presentation skills.
