Supervisor in Merchandising/Shipping (Former Employee) –  McKinney, TXNovember 10, 2017
they tell you what they want but don't give you the tools or training (if your new) to complete the job. they talk big about training and helping but lack in excluding what they say. Todd Blount was the only one that's up front with you. when you have the same people doing the same job and want a change. The people need to change from plant manager on down not just move them around.

The McKinney plant needs a complete overhaul, starting from the top.
Production supervisor (Former Employee) –  McKinney, TXSeptember 18, 2017
Coming in this was an exciting opportunity, amazing things were said, many promises that sounded really good. In a short period of time promises were broken, upper management made all the calls, and didn't allow front line supervisors to do anything. Performance evaluations were terrible, and inconsistent, so you never knew what was expected of you. Meetings would be orchestrated to have everyone attend only to threaten your job or longevity with the company.
Pros
Great HR team
Cons
Everyone beside HR in leadership roles

Production Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Fall River, MAAugust 28, 2017
It was a high stress job with a lot of turnover and it was outgrowing it's ability to keep up with customer orders. There is nepotism and favoritism in the hiring process leading to bad fits in certain positions.

Quality Supervisor (Contract) (Current Employee) –  McKinney, TXMay 29, 2017
They will first lie about the number of days and the hours you will work. I was told that I would only be working four day per week and most of the time it was six. After a few months the then moved me to night shift when I clear informed them that I was not open to working at night. They tend to get rid of the people that want to do right by employees, customers and regulatory. Be ware if they ever call you and get everything in writing as things change at a moments notice depending on the direction of the wind
Pros
Pay is attractive
Cons
Poor leadership and too many lies

Machine Operator (Former Employee) –  Fall River, MAFebruary 14, 2017
Basically to keep it short, company is money hungry. Will drive workers to the ground, with very little pay. They will squeeze every bit of life from you and expect you to have no other life besides, Blount. Filled with empty promises from overhead. Will give you the run around. Most PCs are very hard working, yet undermined by men in suits who sit in offices all day. Company is backwards.

I like to work but I didn't like to work here. My managing team was not able to handle the work and made sure that the works knew it. I work at a pinch point where everything came through me at some point and so did all the management and when they were not happy you would feel it.

MACHINE OPERATOR (Former Employee) –  Fall River, MAFebruary 1, 2017
Low pay long hours. Didn't feel like they valued my work. Place is like a revolving door not meant people last. The ones that do sometimes make you scratch your head. Management keep their circle tight. Hard to move up from within the company unless you are very lucky or just stick around for an insane amount of time. Benefits are good but they do not party their machine operators like they should be paid. 100 degrees lifting 100lb barrels of product all day working 10-12 hour days.
