Glass review on a daily basis to prevent accumulations
Provide daily written report of parts reviewed and on hold to manufacturing plants
Identify source of defect i.e. (Glass Fabrication Plant or Assembly process)
Utilization of aftermarket when possible
Immediate notification to Glass Fabrication Plant of any “Red Flag” issues >10pcs relating cosmetic or concerns related to fit/form/function or logo marking
Return to Glass Fabrication Plants samples of defects within 24hrs upon request
Insure 50% repair rate on all parts at NSL
Scatter diagram creation when requested from Glass Fabrication Plants
Provide written weekly defect review summaries
Participation in NSL PPM improvement teams
Participation in daily or weekly phone calls to improve speed of addressing glass issues
Sorting of suspect raw material when requested by Glass Fabrication Plants
