Directors Assistant/Admissions Coordinator (Current Employee), Metairie, LA – May 4, 2015
It is a beautiful campus, the people are friendly, and the students that come to enroll are always well received. The work environment can be a little hectic at times do to the large volume of people but overall it isn't bad.
Document Specialist (Former Employee), Shreveport, LA – October 4, 2014
Pros: free massages, haircuts, etc . . .
Cons: would have liked to work more hours.
I worked part-time with this company, 32 hours a week. My primary job function was to procure the necessary documents for Cosmetology students to successfully obtain a Louisiana Cosmetology student license. Once I obtained the necessary documents I submitted them to the LA State Board of Cosmetology.I also made sure the students files were all updated with the necessary documents required for the student to graduate. I was managed by the Director of Education. She was very thorough in my training and helped me to do my best. The hardest part of the job was telling a student that the online High School diploma they received was not accredited by the college and it would not be accepted. The most enjoyable part of the job was working one on one with the students to help them achieve their goals.

Student (Former Employee), Gulfport, ms – February 20, 2014
The Blue Cliff College in Gulfport, MS. is run by a very hypocritical woman. She seems to be devious and malicious. She only thinks of herself. She allows racism. She is unfair to good teachers and tries to have them run off. Had a teacher who quit because she was threatened by the students in anothers teachers class. The teachers dont know where the students are no more than the students ever know where to find a teacher. Just drama!!
Cosmetology Receptionist (Former Employee), Shreveport, LA – January 20, 2014
Pros: friendly envirmonet
Cons: short breaks
Typical workday was fast pace with working with clients and students. It's not really what I learned but what I taught some of the staff with keeping stocking records and providing them an easier way of product control. Co-workers were friendly and very easy to get along with. I can honestly say this was an easy position for me. I enjoyed the atmosphere of energetic students, co-workers, and clients.
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee), Lafayette, LA – March 30, 2013
Pros: students and hours
Cons: the director
The actual position is very standard and working at the school is rewarding. However, the director is pretty much psychotic and uses favoritism and tyranny to manage her staff. Everyone walks around in fear and stress. While this is a great place for students, you couldn't bribe me to work here again simply because of her.
