Enterprise Health Education Coordinator (Former Employee), Chicago, IL – October 24, 2012
Team atmosphere. I loved it. I learned how to work with others and deliver on strict deadlines. Co-workers were nice and management was even nicer. Most enjoyable part of the job was the compensation.
The tax area is NOT a good place to work at BCBSIL
n/a (Former Employee), Chicago – September 25, 2012
Pros: got to leave at 4:00
Cons: tax group management
Working at the company in other departments may be ok and the work/life balance is good, BUT the tax people in the chicago office need to go! It is loaded with political BS and if your not patrinizing the big shots then you are nothing. They need to get rid off all the goof balls that think they know what they are doing there and bring in new management. – more... Funny how other dept have people there with 20-30 years and the tax group people cant even make it to 5 years. What does that tell you! – less
Delivered and negotiated benefit renewals with large current client employers.
Account Executive (Former Employee), Rockford, IL – September 19, 2012
I prefer to be on the sales side of the client process. The book of business I handled was very large. When I left they filled my position with 5 FTE's.
