Senior Vacation Specialist (Former Employee), Indianapolis, IN –
It was the first job to give me a chance to provide for my daughter and for that I will be forever grateful, I have always desired to work in the Medical Field and Bluegreen helped make that happen.

Out of Control
Sales (Former Employee), More than one –
Pros: transient job
Cons: everything
Even if your desperate, don't. High turnover, poor negative management, then highly negative coaching. Manager uses the schedule like a weapon to break their sales representatives to submission. No weekend off, ever unless you are being pushed out. Constant scolding and badgering of all reps by management - over coaching. Promotions for performance – more...  are poorly executed or pay out. Scheduling is all over the board so it is impossible to have a family life. Perhaps this is why they target young single men. Easier to control desperate people. Good sales representative with options will not stay with this company. They will move on which may explain the high turnover rate. – less

Bluegreen sales
Sales Manager (Former Employee), Atlanta, GA –
Pros: money and training
Cons: money wasn't guaranteed
A typical day for me is pull all reports to make a goal for the day. Conduct meetings to train employees. And run the sales floor.
Sales is not for everyone so when it came to employees some got it so didn't. The hardest part about the job is that the money wasn't guaranteed. I enjoyed helping people learn more, teaching was the best.

Enjoyable place to work
Sales and Marketing Analyst (Former Employee), Boca Raton, FL –
Pros: telecommunting option
Corporate business with comfortable atmosphere. Going to work each day was a pleasure because of the positive feedback, organized management and good surroundings. The "Gung-ho" awards offered a fun pat-on-the-back.

I loved the sales side and liked management. There was little compassion for outside problems from upper mgt.

Salesperson/Trainer/Management Trainee (Former Employee), Branson, MO –
Pros: interaction with many different types of customers
Cons: not being allowed to fully expand store growth.
Aways meeting new people, being able to converse and help customers in a ranch and farm enviroment, while maintaning the highest customer standards. Being able to manage 9 employees while expanding the store growth by 65% by adding new customers to our ever expanding family.

Productive & group-oriented workplace. Poor ethics.
OPC (Former Employee), Wisconsin Dells, WI –
Pros: short work hours, commission based salary
Cons: no benefits
Great workplace for people who want to make a lot of money and advance quickly, but management is poor in several areas and the decisions made by managers and supervisors tend to lean towards the unethical side of the spectrum. Mislead customers, ability to fudge work hours, etc.

Average Timeshare Company
Operator (Former Employee) –
Cons: micromanagement, long hours, no room for advancement
Bluegreen is an over all good company. Compensation is average, but don't expect to have raises, even with excelent evaluations and dedication to the company. Management at certain resorts for advancement is bias, and based upon one being young single and not to mention how much the hiring manager "likes" you, not based on time in position and qualifications.
