Laborer (Current Employee) – Clinton, IA – November 29, 2016
If you are single, have no kids, and dont want to have much of a life this is the job for you. this job pits you against alot of interesting stuff with ridiculous demands from customers and sometimes demands from management
Driver (Former Employee) – Newburgh, IN – September 26, 2016
Work is very inconsistent with hours. One day you will work 14hrs then next day work 2. So overtime you do get only ends up being a normal weeks pay. Wasn't told that you are required to work out of town but will send you with no notice at all for a week at time. They do not even tell you what hotel you will be staying at until you get there so absolutely no notice for your family's. require you to be at work to drive at a certain time to go to job site but will only pay the driver even if it takes more than hour to get to job site. Does not give lunch breaks as required. You eat when you can. Numerous times without cold water at job sites working in 90% weather. You will not know until 5pm the day prior of where or how long you will work. Even if you was working at same location for over a week they will all of a sudden to switch you. Will sometimes work you until 2am and expects you to attend safety meetings at 6am. They do give you all they safety training and equipment required but on site most do not enforce any of it. Dangerous work for little pay!

Inconsistent on hours. Completely unpredictable. When it's busy you can make decent money. But for the hourly wage they offer starting out is very low for the danger you're put in everyday. Plus it's very labor intensive and causes ware and tear on your body. Management is poor. Some people get a slap on the wrist for breaking rules while others get punishment for the same rule breaking. Seen a lot of unfair decisions by the management in the years I spent there.
Versatile with work and working environment
Not always consistent hours. Up and down at times. Poor management.
Supervisor/Leadman (Former Employee) – Decatur,IL – May 6, 2014
Loved most of my co-workers who wernt brown nosers, 24/7 on call job, you will have to work in all weather Extreme Hot & Cold, A lot of Confined space work, Water Blasting And Industrial Vacuuming, Will have to work in Smelly places with Rats, spiders. Best job for a Single Guy with no kids, Will have out of town work, A lot of "Buddy System" politics They have gotten better at trying to make it where u can try to have more balance in your life, but not much
was in position to learn about differnt equiptment, pay is ok, unless you are in a buddy system then its great
Labor (Former Employee) – Decatur, IL – February 13, 2016
Inconsist hours and work with low pay. Must be insurable or pay goes down even more. Higher seniority employees do whatever they like whereas new hires are treated like temporary workers. NOT A DEPENDABLE JOB!
Water Blaster and Excavator Specialist (Current Employee) – Decatur, IL – September 7, 2014
The length of time you worked on a job varied from job to job. I learned how to efficiently water blast and excavated in a safe and productive manner. I received confined space OSHA training. The hardest part of the job is not knowing what you're doing or what time you're going in or what time you're getting off. The most enjoyable experience was learning all the different aspects of the job.

you never knew what you would be doing you could be using a vactur to suck out train cars or waterblasting in a tank towering a hundred feet in the air shoveling stuff off or on the ground shoveling piles of dirt
