The body Shop can be considered a great company. After being employed for almost 2 years, I have changed my opinion on the company completely. They are not true to their values and their products are overpriced and are not of quality. Management pushes sales associates to do anything possible to make a sale - even if it means lying to customers. Personally, – more... I am not comfortable with that. If a product is good, it should be able to sell itself rather than having sales people practically force customers to buy it. The most enjoyable part of the job was interacting with customers. Also, learning about the products was fun because you get to understand what effects ingredients have on the skin, which was very interesting. – less

A challenging work environment in dealing with different types of customers' issues with body repair and their insurance coverages. As cashier, I mainly worked at the cash register,making sure the cash wrap area and jewelry area stayed clean, and upselling at the register.

I loved working on cars like i do at home! I learned alot about body work on cars and how to do it.

I like to work in a fast pace environment. Im very outgoing and like dealing with the public. This is an excellent oppurtunity to show people what you are really capable of in a sense of personality and in customer satisfaction.

Overall I love fashion and it was a good place for me to work with me still being young. A typical work day trying to get new fashion out on the floor and meeting a daily quota.

A typical work day for me consists of assisting customers through product decision making. A fast paced environment has taught me how to take on multiple tasks at the same time. A small space has made for a family like atmosphere and has also enabled my team and myself to create lasting impressions with each customer. This was a great company to work for. I felt proud to work here and our work paid off with recognition rewards such as parties, cash and atta boy calls from the higher ups.

I started as a cashier and ended up a Co-Manager. A typical day would be clocking in at 7 am with one more associate, going to the bank by 9 am, coming back do a pow wow with the associate, start the day by putting out new merchandise, making sure the store was clean and ready for business, while store is open check sales and where we need to be in – more... the next hour, have another associate come in, make sure the schedule is made for following week, make sure the associates are dressed properly as they come in, do a 3 o'clock reading and by the end of the day close the registers, close the store down. – less

This job was pretty fun but also stressful. I was co-manager here and I had to learn how to do payroll budgeting and hiring on top of my everyday duties and getting my employees to reach our quotas. It was a fun job though.

Typical day at the body shop starts at 930 That's when i do the paperwork And count both registers and the safe and Check the voicemail for messages from the district manager, store opens at 10 and most likely i will not see your first customer until 12, the next person to come is at 1 pm most likely it is another assistant manager, after 1 o'clock – more... business normally takes up, that's when we start doing: demos, facial,and makeovers, for the rest of the day i pretty much talk to every customer that walks in the door, if they are a new customer i get them to most likely buy our body butter or if they are a returning customer you show them something new they never bought before, Great Flexible hours, Awesome products, Awesome reasonable flexible store manager, the management team is really laid back, and goal oriented, the hardest part of this job trying to make goal when no customers come in, the most enjoyable thing about this job, most of our products sales itself, and it's such a friendly laid back atmosphere you fall in love with everybody and every product right away! – less

it was a pretty fun place to work but really childish. The young teens were just to much to deal with.

I loved everything about Body Shop. It was my first management job and my entire staff was amazing. I learned that I was capable of anything. I realized that being forced into action makes one a stronger person. I had to deal with everything from punishment of employees to shoplifting.
