Very nice and up to date place, however the General Manager could have been more involved or organized with her workers.
Service Manager (Former Employee), Mocksville, NCFebruary 21, 2015
Pros: free meals, friendly coworkers, active environment
Cons: poor organization of general manager
The most difficult part of the job were the game days in which staff would be severely short-handed, thus making every area suffer. However the workers were very fun and down-to-earth people that made the environment enjoyable on typical days.

only a good job for students
Cashier (Current Employee), Henderson, NCFebruary 21, 2015
Pros: free lunch up to $7 and works with a college students schedule
Cons: management only cares about there own, schedule you to work on the days when you have another job/school, there are no pay raises for employees, if your not a cashier or cook you will only get up to 3-5 hours a day
Arrive at work and find the place in complete chaos while the managers try to get things in order at their own pace. Once you have been clocked in dont expect a break because you will not get one no matter how many times you ask, it is extremely rare to get a break! The hiring manager cares absolutely nothing about the welfare of the employees, and you could work there for 15 years and never get a raise.

Pros: food discounts
Cons: unorganization
Working at Bojangles , you definitely need great communication skills. You have to have patience and be very welcoming. A lot of the time very rude customers come in,but you just have to kill them with kindness. My patience has improved working here. I've learned to keep my composure no matter the situation.I enjoy helping the customers.

Crew Member (Former Employee), VirginiaFebruary 16, 2015
The sole goal was to give the customers their food as fast as possible. The restaurant was brand new at the time and training new managers for other stores. It was fun but became very hectic at times.

sorry place of employment
cook (Former Employee), Farmville, NCFebruary 10, 2015
Cons: charged for lunch, short breaks, and sorry hours.
They treat you bad, give you sorry work hours as well. Not to mention I left because of no raise, not enough hours per week, and it was too far to drive on the little amount of pay per check. If you ever leave they will also refuse to rehire you, and you can only relocate 1 time in the entire time you work for them. They also charge you for a meal when working, and your not allowed to bring food in unless you put it in a bojangles bag so no one can see what you have.

Very niice place to work.
Crew Member (Current Employee), Sumter, SCFebruary 2, 2015
Pros: they really do focus on family, you get pretty much every holiday off. plenty of time off
Cons: long days. the kitchen is hot. some of the management is hard to work with
Great place to work. There is plenty of room to advance in this company. I love working here but I just don't make enough money. A typical day at work is hard you stand on your feet for quite a few hours and it gets hot. Management is pretty good. The store is very clean, and I would recommend someone just starting out on the job trail to work here. But someone of my age I have to push past this and take a step up in the world and make better money. But overall a great place to work for.

hard work since it was y first job
Crew Member (Former Employee), Durham, NCFebruary 1, 2015
Pros: free food & getting paid every week
Cons: unsanitary/unprofessional manager
a ordinary day at work would be if the manager didn't mess with you or try to bother you. I learned how to be a cashier interacting with customers. How the chicken is prepped and processed for the next day or week, I also learn how to sanitize water for dishes or cleaning the dining room.My management was so unsanitary/Unprosseional I made a dinner box for a customer an she came an took the dinner box and started to eat the chicken in front of the customer before taking it to the back office. My co-workers were all good people just some wasn't quite pleased with how the store was being runned. Hardest part of the job was working on one thing and being rushed to do 3 other thing as well as your own job. Most enjoyable was having 10 dollars to eat with at your lunch break

Working and making production on different areas in workplace
Cook (Former Employee), Winston-Salem, NCJanuary 31, 2015
Working in different areas as a cook, working on the register occasionally. I learned how to cook different varieties of foods work with multicultural groups and improve my communication skills. I had no problems with my co-workers and never brought my emotions to work. Training made most of this job very simple, but i would say working on the most busiest days was the most difficult. I enjoyed learning how to cook different foods.

Kitchen Leader (Former Employee), Bristol, TNJanuary 26, 2015
Pros: job culture, management are fun
Cons: low pay hard work.
Not an easy job. Openers work 10 hour shifts with one 30 minute break as early as 6. The managers are great though and the other workers are even better. Oh the AC broke every summer and the heat broke during the winter.

Cons: healthcare, dental care
a typical day at Bo jangles was always busy the customers were always amazing my manager was great the co-workers were fun to be around the hardest part of the job was being able to be here and there whenever the timers went off but the most enjoyable part about it is when those times come your co-workers are always there to help u the team work was great.

fun workplace with amazing employers and customers
Cashier/Customer Service Representative (Current Employee), West Columbia, SCJanuary 25, 2015
Pros: everyone is kind and i meet amazing customers everyday
Cons: lunch breaks
A typical day at work includes me and another female a manager and a boy who drops the chicken. I will normally do frontline which is assisting the people who want to dine inside or carryout and some days I will do drive thru where of course I answer my head set and assist the customers that's at the window. I also pack for drive thru and frontline ( which is fixing the customers food). I learned that when you have a positive attitudes and when your kind people will treat you the same and that when your negative and rude people will be the same towards you so I learned to drop my attitude outside of bojangles and to go into work like I just won the lottery. Management at bojangles is really good. My coworkers are absolutely amazing we all work together and we put our differences aside to get whatever has to be done finish. The hardest part of bojangles will have to be sometimes telling the homeless people no that we cant give them food at the time they come in. The most enjoyable part of bojangles is meeting new people satisfying every customer and making sure they leave with a smile and that they come back.

Stability if you work hard
Cashier (Current Employee), Greenville, NCJanuary 25, 2015
I feel as though even though I have been with this company for 8 years that I don't always feel appreciated for the hard work that I do. There tends to be a lot of favoritism and things aren't always done the same way on a consistent basis.
