Hard Work
Cashier (Former Employee), Kinston, NC –
Pros: discount for lunch
Cons: management
Once you clock in it is nothing but work. Sometimes you will get breaks depending on how busy it was. Hardest part about the job is keeping up with all the orders and make sure you do not make any mistakes and the easy part about it was meeting customers and make sure you have a positive attitude at all times. Management was understanding but still – more...  strict. Co-workers can get a bit annoying. I learned to just work at a steady pace and do not get stressed. – less

IT WAS AN OKAY JOB
Cook (Former Employee), Starkville, MS –
A DAY AT BOJANGLES WAS LONG AND STRESSFUL. BECAUSE IT WAS AN UP AND COMING RESTAURANT, IT WOULD SOMETIME BECOME MORE STRESSFUL. MANAGEMENT WAS NOT COOPERATIVE OR RESPONSIBLE. I LEARNED HOW TO ONLY MAKE THEIR BISCUITS. I WAS LET GO FROM THE COMPANY BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT GETTING ENOUGH BUSINESS. INSTEAD OF FINDING OUT FROM THE GENERAL STORE MANAGER, HE – more...  TOLD A CO-WORKER TO TELL ME. – less

Working at Bojangles
baker (Former Employee), Petersburg, VA –
Pros: employee food discount
Cons: 30 min breaks
My schedule was 4:30 a.m til 2:00 p.m almost every other day full time. I baked biscuits, cinnamon sticks, chicken bites, & pies. Ive learned how to work in any kind of pace and also gain good organization skills. The management wasnt as cooperative with the crew as I thought they would be, but when I needed assistance their wasnt any problems. My co-workers – more...  were helpful, some provided me with information I can take with me in the future. The hardest part of the job was keeping up with the crew after returning from break, because I had to make a certain amount of biscuits before I left. If they were gone when I came back I would have to work as fast as I can to get more out for costomers. The most enjoyable part of the job is seeing co-workers and I progress. – less

Service Leader (Former Employee), SC –
Pros: they work around your schedules
Cons: waiting so long for healthcare benefits
Fast paced work enviroment, I kearned great customer service skills and how to be part of a team. Managment and co-workers were excellent. Hardest part of a job dealing with rude customers who always found a way to get free food even when you did everything you could to help them. The most enjoyable part of the meeting new people. Constantly learning – more...  new things everyday – less

Not at all what I expected
Cashier (Current Employee), Columbia, SC –
Pros: $4.00 discount a day, paid every week
Cons: barely got a break, 11 hour shifts, management horrible, got yelled at, inconsiderate leadership
Bojangles was by far the worst place I have even worked unfortunately. It lacked organization and the leadership never respected your opinion and if there was an issue, instead of fixing it, it would go on and on. The place was full of disrespect, and it lacked loyalty and integrity where I worked. The employees were good but the leadership was horrible. – more...  I would never apply away – less

Fast-food restaurant
Cashier/Dining Room Assistant (Former Employee), Morehead City, NC –
Pros: food
Cons: everything else
I would clean the dining room and fix customer's orders all day. Some days I would work the window as a cashier. The hardest part about the job is you will get worked like a dog with little to no break. The co-workers weren't any help either. Best part about the job was the food.

Clean place, enjoyable work.
Sales Associate (Former Employee), Laurens, SC –
Pros: cleaning, collectiing the mail, running arrends, and helping customers.
Cons: not many hrs. other than that, i loved my job there.
Typical day at work, was cleaning jewelery show cases, and running cash-register, and helping any way I could with my boss, and customers.
I learned how to do credit checks, clean jewelery, how to set of the displays, and run credit and debit cards and well as open layaway accounts when hoildays would come around.
I never managed anyone but the manager – more...  whom I worked for was fun to work with and we got along good.
Didn't really have any co-workers it was a family owned business, so there again the manager was a real joy to work for.
hardest part of the job, there wasn't one I could do anything there, once I learned how to do it,
The most enjoyable part was cleaning the show cases, and getting the mail, and helping customers. – less

Productive and Fun Workplace if you like to work with the public, and serve and cook food.
Cashier (Current Employee), Morganton, NC –
Pros: as long as your are on the clock, you get 100% free employer meals.
Cons: you dont have any breaks, and you dont stop till you get off the clock.
I love working with the public, the co workers there can sometimes be rude to other co workers but I think you will have that any where you go. The managers are nice, they work with you so you can get better at what you do.
