Nice facilities, good benefits, excellent training.
Personal Banker (Former Employee), Houston, TX – May 14, 2013
Pros: friendly customers and co-workers and excellent benefits.
Cons: i have no complaints about the company.
BOK was a wonderful place to work. I worked at the West U Branch and enjoyed communicating with the customers and employees. My co-workers were great and we worked as a team. The training was excellent. The hardest part of my job was obtaining new business. Customers are looking for the best rate and are not always loyal to a specific bank.
I wish I – more... was still an employee at BOK. – less

I Like the people I work with
Universal Banker (Current Employee), Boulder, Colorado – May 12, 2013
I am a teller and a customer service person. I am required to handle and balance cash each day as well as be able to open and close new accounts and open new loans. We have just changed systems again so we have had to learn new and different things on a daily basis. We are a small branch, so we are good at helping each other when ever possible.

Teller (Former Employee), Albuquerque, NM – May 1, 2013
Pros: training, sells bonuses
Cons: its a still a small bank, cant really move out
Fun, place to work. Their training has to be the best, they take their time to teach you everything and make sure you understand. It all take place in a small class room setting not on a computer. and it is very hands on

Do NOT join the audit dept
Auditor (Current Employee), Tulsa – April 2, 2013
Pros: stable company
Cons: terrible management of the audit dept
The management in the audit dept is terrible. Turnover is so high that it affects your job performance. Starting salary and benefit are fair but annual increases are capped at 2%. Managers show favoritism and some relationships appear inappropriate. A recent hire is being paid more. Why am I still here?

Strong & dynamic company...
Vice President/Leasing Manager (Current Employee), Tulsa, OK – April 1, 2013
Pros: very interesting work...great team members!
Cons: far too often departments hire teams and then, as an after-thought, request office space, this lack of shared expectations on timing often leads to the dreaded fire drills!
Our department is comprised of Transactional Managment (Aquisitions/Dispositions/Leasing), Construction Managment (New Construction/Renovations), REO, Facility & Space Management. Work with a great pool of talent and expertise.

Overworked, Underpaid
BSA Investigator (Former Employee), Tulsa, OK – March 20, 2013
Plan on working 50+ hours per week if you are a salaried employee. They will take advantage of you in whatever way they can. Also, promotions are given based on favoritism rather than work quality and experience. DO NOT work for this employer.

Would not recommend to anyone
Loan Servicing Associate (Former Employee), OK – February 24, 2013
Pros: no pros about this employer
Cons: allows ignorant and immature management make decisions
Lack of quality management and is more concerned with promoting minorities to meet quotas, rather than developing management based on skill levels of all employees.

Terrible Job
Teller (Former Employee), Enid, OK – February 19, 2013
I did not enjoy the procedures and policies or the staff at BOK. I think BOK needs to learn to address issues better.

I won't recommend
Manager (Former Employee), Tulsa, OK – January 31, 2013
A southern company carries a non diversified and non minority work force. If you are from the regions, you will be welcomed by the co workers. Co workers and Management have extreme difficulties to work with and develop talents from the regions of coastal cities and big cities. They like workers from small towns, the south and midwest. Management only – more... wants to transfer knowledge and experience from outsiders other than Oklahoma, Texas and other local midwest regions. The problem is the co worker and management only wants to absorb the knowledge and have no plans to develop and promote these talents.
BOK is a non diversified company which I won't recommend anyone who has a diverse and liberal views towards works and life in general.
There are sometimes southern racial comments carried inside the office. Just beware and think job offers thoroughly before you are fooled by the attractiveness of a higher salary ( after living standard ajusted ) and cheaper living standard. After all, you are still outsiders inside the company and after work. – less

Successful and well managed company with comfortable work environment
Network Microsystems Engineer (Current Employee), Dallas, TX – January 30, 2013
Pros: good working environment
Cons: lack of growth opportunity in it department
On a day to day basis my team and I provide technical support for LAN operations and 550+ users. During my tenure with the company I have deepened and honed my skills in areas of Project Management, end user support and network operations. The management at BOT is top notch as proven by year to year growth in the Texas financial market. My co-workers – more... and I work together to support our network and end users and have good, proven working relationships. The most difficult aspect of my position is the lack of opportunity and challenges due to the limitations of working in a regional office. The most rewarding part of my job is the trust, respect and appreciation receive from those that I support within the company. – less

Teller
Teller (Former Employee), Bentonville, AR – January 22, 2013
Pros: great customer service
Cons: slow paced
I processed cash and check transactions. It was nice to get to see the same customers each day where you get to know them by name. I was only part time so I did not get any benefits. I enjoyed it because I enjoy math.
