Cons: missed unpaid breaks.
A typical day at work usually involved the management getting as much out of you as possible and often meant working for 10 hours without a break, promises to let you finish early in return later in the week never materialised. Constant pressure was applied whilst out on the road delivering to customers by way of phone calls, upon returning to the goods outwards at finishing time you were often sent out again at 4 pm to complete more deliveries in the rush jour, even though i was due to finish work they insisted the deliveries were made. The vehicle was in my opinion non road worthy but you were told to ignore any vehicle defects and sign off your paperwork/vehicle checks as satisfactory. Basically a delivery driver for this company is a 2 man job.
