Inside Sales Person for Fast Growing B2B Printing and Promotional Products Company (Reliant Stadium Area)

Houston’s fastest growing B2B Commercial Printing, Promotional Products, and Office Supplies Company is looking for Inside Sales Representatives.

We offer custom printing that includes (but not limited to) business stationary, marketing materials, etc. and promotional kits tailor made for your company’s setting and/or event.

We also sell and deliver thousands of office essentials like paper, ink & toner, technology items, furniture, school packets, break room & cleaning supplies…and much MORE throughout Greater Houston and its surrounding areas.

We are currently hiring Inside Sales Reps for:
1. Following up on field sales team’s prospects for opening new accounts
2. Providing all sales support functions to acquire new accounts and expand existing accounts

Job Description

  • Effectively solicit new leads and close new accounts for businesses over the phone
  • Work with Outside Sales representatives to keep the accounts active, turn out quotes, follow ups and

other support functions

  • Responsible for the sales of multiple product offerings to new clients and businesses
  • Utilize our sophisticated comparison pricing system to produce quotes for our wide range of products
  • Create and distribute sales reports to Outside Sales team
  • Mine leads and contact information through a wide range of sources (i.e. purchased lists, internet

research, existing customers)

  • Handle inbound sales phone and email inquiries
  • Outbound cold calling and telemarketing in a call center environment
  • Provide pricing, product information, literature, and samples, etc. to prospects and existing customers
  • Follow up after mailing initial information on various products and services to prospects
  • Build and maintain relationships with new customers on a first name basis
  • Leverage sales automation tools to increase efficiency and demonstrate achievements
  • Make retention calls to existing customers to keep their accounts active
  • Email new and existing customers about specials and promos to increase sales
  • Convert customer feedback into implementable suggestions (i.e. product enhancements, web site


  • Evaluate accounts, assess current operational inefficiencies and identify potential opportunities
  • Set up new accounts in our Order Management System
  • Make appointments for Outside Sales Reps to visit prospects
  • Perform in-depth research in all our products categories – office supplies and furniture, printing and promotional products
  • Occasional assistance in floater duties – pulling stock to fill orders, packaging catalogs, taking inventory
  • Work closely with Outside Sales, Branch Management Team, Printing Team and Operations to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Complete and turn in all require reports in a timely manner
  • Attend all required meetings and training sessions

Job Requirements

  • Positive “can-do” attitude with an outgoing personality
  • Must be driven, goal oriented, professional, and looking to further career in the industry
  • Strengths should include being a multi-tasker, meticulous, laser focused and responsible
  • Extraordinary communication skills – both verbal and written
  • strong background in telephone sales to interact with existing

and potential clients

  • Strong organizational, time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks
  • Aggressive, persistent, self-motivated and strong work ethic with proven ability to work in a fast-paced


  • Strong ethics in dealings with customers, vendors and coworkers; adherence to business practice guidelines
  • Previous office supply/printing/promotional products experience is desired, but not a must
  • Have advanced knowledge of functions and related tasks in the area of telemarketing
  • Type at least 35 WPM. (Rapid typing skills are important, as you will be entering information as you

speak with clients on the phone)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power point)
  • Prior KNOWLEDGE of Office Supply and/or Printing business a BONUS
  • Some College Education a MUST
  • We are seeking an honest, outgoing, "people person" who can build relationships with our customers

over the telephone, and who is looking for a long-term opportunity for growth

  • Supportive Training Program (with pay). By the end of the 30 days, you will perform most job duties

with ease

  • Willingness to sign Non Compete Agreement
  • Full Time – 8:30AM to 5:30PM, Monday through Friday
  • Position is CONTRACT full time for 90 days - then converts to PERMANENT full time employment
  • Back Ground Check Required

Compensation Plan includes:

  • Base Pay
  • Commission – One time and Recurring
