Serious University for Scholarship
Instructor in Philosophy (Former Employee), Chestnut Hill, MAApril 17, 2015
This is a serious college / university for students and faculty, where the teaching and scholarship are at the top, with high interaction between students, part-time and full-time faculty. The freedom in teaching and choosing material and topics within a course frame is limitless if it meets the proper academic standards.

Friendly work environment for student employees
Student Office Assistant (Former Employee), Chestnut Hill, MADecember 30, 2014
I have been working as a part-time office assistant in facilities department for over a year now.

My responsibilities are typical office duties such as answering calls, entering data and organizing documents, in addition to working with maintenance technicians to whom I assign suitable tasks.

Working here, I learned the weight of my actions and consequences as one mistake can waste a lot of time and resources not to mention the suffering of the people who need help.

As the position is provided for students, the manager of the office and co-workers are very understanding of students' schedule during exams. They will accomodate students' academic schedule as much as possible.

It can be quite difficult during certain seasons due to frequent occurrences of specific problem such as leak or heating. It is normal to have multiple phone calls incoming every 3 minutes. However, on easier days, things are reasonably laid back and comfortable.

Among the best schools on this planet
BC Admissions Committee Member (Current Employee), Chestnu Hill MAOctober 20, 2014
Pros: bc heart and caring for everyone's success
Boston College is not just a school - it is a unique and special experience...it changes one's lives and grows them for a true life experience and future

Professors at BC are top notch. They teach, they train, and they counsel and are interactive with students - daily

Yet, the hardest part - and in a good way - they really challenge their students

The best part is knowing the Boston College truly cares for their students and is involved globally for all.
