Depends on your position. Cooks and managers for the morning shift come in at 8. Servers/cashiers an hour or 30 minutes before (depends). Carvers, an hour or two before. For closing, I usually left an hour after closing. That's if Im able to start early. I was a cashier. Everyone seem to get off at the same time since we worked together and started before we closed.

Depending on Payroll limitations, most hourly employees arrive around 7am-8am if they work the opening shift. This is to ensure all prep work is completed by 10:30am when the doors open and all your focus will be on making sure every guest is served promptly.

Closing shifts can be there as late as 11:30pm weekdays and 12:30am (past midnight) on weekends. This all depends on the morning shift having completed all the prep, how busy the restaurant is during dinner rush, and whether or not the restaurant is fully staffed for all positions. If understaffed, all hands (from cashier, cook, and server to manager) are scrubbing and sanitizing every dish, surface, all the ovens, and all cookware.
