Good Food, good customers
Cashier/Hostess/prep/food runner/expo/stock (Former Employee), Boston, MA –
Pros: breaks, discounts on food
Cons: slow advancement, menu changes, inefficiency at times.
* A typical day at Boston Market for me was forever changing. I mainly opened in the morning and ran the register, ran food, restocked, and continuously cleaned the lobby. A typical day ended between 3:30 and 4:00.
* I learned culinary skills that are now assisting me at home and at my current work place.
*Management skipped around a lot, but before – more...  I left the assistant manager was great, always making sure things were ran smoothly.
*Some of my co workers were hit or miss; professionalism one instant and inefficiency the next.
* The hardest part of this job was making sure that everyone was on board with quality service everyday.
* The best part of this job were the customers even though some may come in unhappy I always felt it was my job to make them have a good experience – less

Cashier/ Server (Former Employee), North Arlington, NJ –
- A typical day at Boston Market consisted of knowing the newest promotions, telling the customers about them and serving them. As well as ( on some shifts) working on the register and reporting back to management.
- I learned and aquired many skills at this job including working on the register, interacting with people, advancing my custer service – more...  skills, and opening and closing procedures.
- I would my describe my relationships with my co-workers very lively, helpful and all around very enjoyable to work with
- The hardest part of this job was enduring hours stading and balancing school at them same time. this was my first job in highschool which after I had to resighn because at the time, I couldn't balance the two.
- The most enjoyable part of this job was the interaction with the people, and familiar customers that came in daily as well as the accesibility in which I didn't need to travel far from home or school to get there. – less
