In a typical day here, you'll find little in the way of teamwork or communication. In fact, it's a bit like being in high school again. It's hard to get in the door if you don't "know someone", and if you do get in the door without a connection, you'll be an outcast, left out of departmental meetings, emails and lunches, and also left to scavenge information pertaining to your job the best way you can. The left hand in this organization has no idea what the right hand is doing and it won't do any good to report it to HR, because they're part of the left hand.
The departments that need to work together here don't. In fact, they try their best to keep from working together. They're afraid that if they share their information they won't be needed and let go.
The only positive I can list about this company is that they are flexible with MOST employees if they need time off for family issues.
