Trailer Mechanic (Former Employee) –  Birmingham, ALJanuary 27, 2015
I was so blessed to be able to meet some wonderful people while working at Boyd Brother's. We always got the job done, but were still able to cut up while doing so. The management was always helpful, and my co-workers were always supportive.
Pros
My work shift was Monday-Friday
Cons
No overtime

Flatbed Driver (Current Employee) –  Clayton, ALFebruary 2, 2013
Great equipment and maintenance. Fair wage per mi. Some good weeks do occasionally happen but do not expect consistent high mi. 2200 has been my avg for the last 4 months. The Ins seems a bit high at $89 per week. (it's going up) The Birmingham terminal
has wifi, theatre room, weights, and access to dispatch for personable contact. Orientation is a bit sour, but once
Done, you will meet with courteous dispatchers. The million mi drivers on their board are more than most . This job would be on the awesome list if the salary could see some enhancements. I do enjoy working there.
Pros
good equipment, dot proof.
Cons
slow work during holiday. no xtra $ if you get stuck out on wkds.
