Flatbed Driver (Current Employee), Clayton, AL – February 2, 2013
Pros: good equipment, dot proof.
Cons: slow work during holiday. no xtra $ if you get stuck out on wkds.
Great equipment and maintenance. Fair wage per mi. Some good weeks do occasionally happen but do not expect consistent high mi. 2200 has been my avg for the last 4 months. The Ins seems a bit high at $89 per week. (it's going up) The Birmingham terminal has wifi, theatre room, weights, and access to dispatch for personable contact. Orientation is a – more... bit sour, but once Done, you will meet with courteous dispatchers. The million mi drivers on their board are more than most . This job would be on the awesome list if the salary could see some enhancements. I do enjoy working there. – less
