As of December 31, 2008, the Company wholly owned and operated 15 casino entertainment facilities located in Nevada, Mississippi, Illinois, Louisiana and Indiana. As of December 31, 2008, the Company owned an aggregate of approximately 808,200 square feet of casino space, containing approximately 22,250 slot machines, 450 table games and 7,250 hotel rooms. Its new hotel at Blue Chip Casino, Hotel & Spa opened on January 22, 2009. This expansion added a 22-story hotel, which includes 300 guest rooms, a spa and fitness center, additional meeting and event space, as well as new dining and nightlife venues.
