Bradley Consulting & Management has been a good company to work for. I am a bit concerned regarding job security as I work in the Midwest area and this area has not grown as anticipated.
The hardest part of my job is the amount of travel required, as since my area is slow, I am helping my two other co-workers. I live in Evansville, Indiana, and I have to travel to Paducah, KY, Bowling Green Kentucky, Vincennes or Terre Haute IN, Owensboro Kentucky, Mt. Vernon, IL, and several rural towns in IN and KY.
I love the independence in my job. I am very goal oriented, My supervisor never has to worry that an appointment will not be covered, or that a report will be completed and submitted when due.
Each nurse schedules their own appointments. You may have one to three visits in one day depending on location. I would meet my injured worker at the physician office. Medical information is obtained from the physician such as plan of treatment, work status, anticipated MMI and PPI. Each nurse does notify adjuster of this information, as well as plan of treatment recommended. The nurse is responsible to provide appointment information and obtain authorization for recommended treatment for the injured worker.
