National Sales Manager -Branded Division, Weymouth, MA - February 3, 2016
A typical day at Brady Enterprises started with reviewing orders that came overnight and where we stand in relation to the month. I would then proceed with handling pending and immediate administrative issues. I would review our promotional event performance with our key accounts in the region throughout the quarter and half . Profitable promotional planning was key. I would analyze performance by using IRI regional brand and unit ranking reports. Bump charts to identify sales trends and opportunities by account.I was extremely important to stay close with your broker teams to understand the ongoing challenges and changes that occur on a daily bases in the market-place. I made it a point to get in front of my key account category manager to find ways to advance our mutual business together , First Half business planning , Second half holiday planning and new item presentations,.Attending holiday trade show , I viewed extremely as important. I gave me the opportunity to be the Bell's / Brady ambassador in the marketplace at these shows. My motto was "Expect the Unexpected".My management team provided solid direction and guidance . My co-workers provided valuable support which helped my overall job performance. Brady being an entrepreneurial company and the Bell's line being primarily regional in nature we were faced with competing up against some key player in the market place - Kraft ( Stove Top ) , Campbell Soup (Pepperidge Farms) Bimbo Bakeries ( Arnold) and Private Label who spent very aggressively , Maintaining preserving our market share and distribution was always a threat and challenge against the Bell's brand. I relish the challenge to stay competitive which I believe we were very competitive in my tenure with Brady Enterprises. The most gratifying part of the job came when the promotions that you planned and executed were successful. When a consumer personally called or responded back via internet how much he or she enjoyed the Bell's and Bar-Tender's brand / It was extremely satisfying.. It fueled my energy and excitement to proceed to try to enhance and strengthen my brands forward. We will and would prevail.
