Worked at Braman One Year
Sales Advisor (Former Employee) – West Palm Beach – July 2, 2013
Life at Braman Motorcars entails being preached at daily that the customers "Satisfaction is our highest priority". Don't doubt it. Nothing less could or should be expected from a dealership selling high end automobiles. Repeat business is what it's all about, of course. This company sends mailers to their previous customers (about 30,000 a month) and expects the Sales Reps to call these customers even IF these same customers have been called 16,412 times before. The dealership pounding on these former customers alienates the same they are trying to develop.
That being said, Management treats the Salespeople poorly unless you are a leading Salesperson. Also leading salespeople are provided with the best leads. I personally watched a General Sales Manager feed every lead that came across his desk to a single salesperson. All the salespeople in the showroom knew what was happening, and there where salespeople more capable and who had been there far longer than the salesperson being fed. It was so out of hand, the Salespeople in the showroom incorporated the word "Cheese" into this particular salesperson's last name, "cheese" being the word in the industry describing a gimme.
Another consideration is the arrogance of this place. They consider themselves God's gift to the automotive industry, though there are far larger organizations such as Penske, Autonation and others.
To add insult to injury, when you work at Braman you are not getting "Paid". It is strictly a commission job, irrespective of the amount of effort put in.
good benefits, nice support staff
long work hours, unappreciative and abusive managment
