Worked at Braman One Year
Sales Advisor (Former Employee), West Palm BeachJuly 2, 2013
Pros: good benefits, nice support staff
Cons: long work hours, unappreciative and abusive managment
Life at Braman Motorcars entails being preached at daily that the customers "Satisfaction is our highest priority". Don't doubt it. Nothing less could or should be expected from a dealership selling high end automobiles. Repeat business is what it's all about, of course. This company sends mailers to their previous customers (about 30,000 a month) and – more... expects the Sales Reps to call these customers even IF these same customers have been called 16,412 times before. The dealership pounding on these former customers alienates the same they are trying to develop.

That being said, Management treats the Salespeople poorly unless you are a leading Salesperson. Also leading salespeople are provided with the best leads. I personally watched a General Sales Manager feed every lead that came across his desk to a single salesperson. All the salespeople in the showroom knew what was happening, and there where salespeople more capable and who had been there far longer than the salesperson being fed. It was so out of hand, the Salespeople in the showroom incorporated the word "Cheese" into this particular salesperson's last name, "cheese" being the word in the industry describing a gimme.

Another consideration is the arrogance of this place. They consider themselves God's gift to the automotive industry, though there are far larger organizations such as Penske, Autonation and others.

To add insult to injury, when you work at Braman you are not getting "Paid". It is strictly a commission job, irrespective of the amount of effort put in. – less

Good start
Administrative Assistant / Cashier / Receptionist (Current Employee), West Palm Beach, FLJune 1, 2013
Good company to work if you like the car industry. Service advisors can earn up to 100k a year, but you have to put long hours. The schedule is from 7:30 to 6pm.

It's like working in high school!!!
Greeter (Former Employee), West Palm beach, FLJanuary 8, 2013
Pros: lol none!
Cons: the business builds itself in values, but it doesn't come through in the performance of employees!
The people here started off as very kind and generous. After a while the true colors begin to show! You have to really cover your butt because not only will customers falsely accuse you of misinformation, but the employees do as well! They are beyond childish and play the blame game. Management, advisors, and service coordinators constantly bash each – more... other. This place is full of drama!!! – less

You are only a Number
Receptionist (Former Employee), West Palm Beach, FLSeptember 29, 2012
Pros: co-workers make the place
Cons: management will lie directly to your face.
The company talks values but the constant turnover of management and staff speaks otherwise. It's amazing they are profitable because the organization lacks directions; rules and procedures change on an hourly basis. They nickle and dime their employees to ensure the company makes money and past expenses on to salesman. Braman don't give raises, worked – more... five years and made the same when I left as when I got the job. – less

awful company never pay you what you earnt
sales manager (Former Employee), braman bmwSeptember 11, 2012
Pros: good products nice facility
Cons: long hours never get paid what you made
very long hours, as is the industry, cahnge staf and management so frequently, have some talented people there, alot of back stabbing and complaining, they hav like a dual acctingsystem gross profit never comes out how it should they got in trouble few years ago cos they didnt pay people correctly. some of sales people make alot of money then they change – more... the pay plan to reduce it, selling and managing there would be great . it is a great product, some good co-workers then comes that dreaded haggle over your pay check. if you dont mind lookin over your shoulder and you dont mind the pay issue you will be ok... oh that is of course if you hit your targets, cos if u dont friday is pink slip day. – less
