As part of the Human Resources team, this position will assist in fostering a partnership with the business through demonstrating an understanding of the business and its organizational structure, payroll knowledge, proactive, quality service to employee clients. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this position is responsible for working collaboratively with the HR team and processing payroll for the firm.

  • Process US and international payrolls accurately and in a timely manner based on company policy and guidelines.
  • Understand multiple time and attendance policies, paid time off rules, and pay schedules and policies of each operating entity. When employees transition to new roles, identify and implement changes in time-off and FLSA status rules, or other pay policies.
  • Ensure the integrity of payroll changes data and update HR System (Workday) and timekeeping system (Kronos)
  • Administer group benefit plan monthly invoices including reconciling with payroll records and processing for payment.

SSkills, Knowledge, Experience and Education Required::

  • Minimum of five (5) years of payroll related experience required, including ADP (US & Canada) processing for 400+ employees in multiple locations; proven knowledge and experience processing garnishment, coordination of disability payments, Minimum 2 years of experience with automated time keeping systems, preferably Kronos;
  • Experience with HR Systems (preferably Workday)
  • Ability to work independently, accurately and quickly and within deadlines (e.g. excellent time management and organizational skills).
  • Focus on process improvement, initiative, team collaboration and client service
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Willingness and requirement to work overtime as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; F.P.C. (Fundamental Payroll Certification) or C.P.P. (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
