Easy going place to work, no real set time to go to work or time to get off work
Hostess brands-Route salesman (Former Employee), Chillicothe, OH – May 1, 2013
Typical day started between 3 and 4 am and usually ended by 1 pm. I learned a lot about customer service and product management. Setting display pieces and end caps was a daily activity. I always kept in contact with the management team at all the stores i serviced to try and boost sales. The hardest part of my job was keeping up with the out of date – more... product and proper rotation, sometimes it was difficult to communicate with store management and finalize certain displays and promotions. The best part of my job was dealing with the public and providing the best customer service possible. – less

Route Service Representative (Former Employee), Braintree, MA – April 3, 2013
Pros: there was no set hours, when the route and necessary paper work was done, you were done
Cons: the worse part was bad weather.
I liked working out on the road ,knowing my responsibilities, and being on my own with the support of management.A typical work day would be going from store to store, both small and major markets, ordering ,delivering, and merchandising .I also enjoyed the physical nature of the business as well as the people I worked with.

Company out of business
Special Ship Account Manager (Former Employee), Hodgkins, IL – February 7, 2013
Day at work: very busy fast paced working environment

I learned how to combine decision making policies of company upper management, with needs and expectations of customers successfully.

Co-workers were all dedicated and reliable

Hardest part of job - never ending service issues that were not within my area of control

Most enjoyable part of job – more... - solving customer issues, and helping the company & customers to grow their businesses, and working with many very nice people on both sides of the business – less

District Sales Manager (Former Employee), TN – January 3, 2013
It was a very demanding job due to extreme customer expectations. Even though the job required alot of time and effort, the relationships gained with customers and employees made the job very satisfying. A very hard working sales team that also had a lot of fun.
Hostess (Current Employee), Davenport, IA – December 29, 2012
Pros: geat bu management team. great customers.
Cons: lengthy hours, very long work weeks.
My day at work would begin very early everyday. I would review emails and answer any that need attention. I would then proceed to work with my sales team and customers for the majority of the day. My co workers and upper management that I reported to were great! The hardest part of the job was keeping up with a very heavy work load, but I must admit – more... that inside I enjoyed that as it made time pass very quickly. I called on many great customers for over 20 years. I learned that if you care for your customers and take care of their needs, you will experience many great rewards! – less
