Project Assistant (Current Employee) –  Bloomington, MNJanuary 16, 2017
I enjoy working for the company, I just feel that I am underpaid, and dissatisfied about it.

Also looking for a shorter commute.

Certified Welding Inspector (Former Employee) –  Minneapolis, MNDecember 14, 2016
Braun Intertec requires a great deal of reputable clout from their inspectors. Opportunities are a competitive endeavor, but the rewards are well worth pursuing.

Lots of Promises but...
Associate Principal (Current Employee) –  Bloomington, MNJuly 21, 2016
Braun seems to be making the age old mistake of growing too big for their britches. Expansion and new growth recently has alienated many senior folks that have caused many to seek greener pastures with competitors. The interaction between new acquisitions has not been successful, creating at times a volatile atmosphere. At one time, Braun was one of the few companies that one could count on to be stable and weather the market storms. That is no longer the case. Too rapid of expansion, with out a solid integration plan has fractured this company beyond recognition. If they are trying to become another AECOM... they have succeeded. Entry level folks... great place to get experience, just don't see this place as a long term employment solution.
Pros
Good wages, company vehicles..equipment.
Cons
Poor leadership on all levels.

Very flexible work environment
Project Manager (Current Employee) –  Bloomington, MNDecember 10, 2014
Very flexible work environment. Growing company with many office locations in the upper midwest and Texas, multi-discipline services to serve client needs from a one stop shop. Employee owned and a great benefit structure. Employees are great resources with decades of project experience.

Field EIT (Current Employee) –  West Fargo, NDNovember 22, 2014
The employees of Braun Intertec's Fargo office make an atmosphere that is not easily matched, they understand the steps it took to get them where they are and are always accessible, understanding, and ready to help when needed.

The work involved at Braun Intertec is rapidly growing and ever changing, each day/month/year presents new opportunities and it is up to the employee if they would like to challenge themselves to certain experiences.

Learning experiences include:

Communication in a fast-paced environment
Insight on construction activities involving use of soil, concrete, masonry, and other materials
